Nancy Harrell Kennedy

Nancy Harrell Kennedy passed away after a brief illness on July 22, 2022; loving wife of James G. Kennedy for 35 years; devoted mother of Daniel (wife Sara, son Jackson), Megan (husband Jon), and Lauren; cherished sister of Julie Hessler (husband David). Nancy was preceded in death by her loving parents Bertha Marie Harding Harrell and Charles Richard Harrell.
Upon graduating from the University of Maryland, Nancy worked for the NCR Corporation where she became the youngest female district manager in the country. After her early career, Nancy devoted 20 years to raising her family, and then attended the Maryland University of Integrative Health where she earned a Master’s degree in Nutrition & Integrative Health. She enjoyed working with clients and focusing her practice on “food is medicine”, as well as serving on the Board of Moveable Feast. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, and also immersed herself in spiritual wellness and the community at Well for the Journey.
Nancy loved to cook, garden, play the piano, and read, but most of all, spend time with her family and friends. Rest in peace, kind soul.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6 at 3pm at Faith Lutheran Church (8 Sherwood Road, Cockeysville, MD).
