Doctor of Acupuncture
Dr. Most is a licensed acupuncturist, acupuncture researcher, and professor at MUIH where she has taught courses in Acupuncture, Integrative Sciences, Nutrition, and Health and Wellness Coaching. She is an AHM representative on the Faculty Senate, and Chair of its Information, Research and Scholarship Subcommittee and Curriculum Committee. She is chair of the Society for Acupuncture Research Special Interest Group in Education (SAR SIG-Edu), which has completed a survey of U.S. acupuncture students’ interest and background in research. SAR SIG-Edu is currently working with international experts to identify essential acupuncture research topics and to improve research education for AHM students. She maintains a private practice, BodyMindSpirit Acupuncture. Her research is featured in multiple journals such as the Journal for Alternative and Complementary Medicine. She is an English editor for the acupuncture textbook, Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion, 4th edition by the world-renowned Chinese medical doctor and researcher, Cheng Xinnong. She has also studied with Jeffrey Yuen, an internationally recognized Chinese medicine master, and holds certificates from his teachings in Advanced Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Chinese Dietary Therapy, Chinese Medical Aromatherapy, and Healing with Gems and Stones.
