Reflection Questions
-
- This study says they used per protocol and intention to treat analyses. What is the difference between per-protocol (PP) and intention to treat (ITT)?
- Which set of results are you more interested in clinically (Per Protocol or Intention to Treat) and why?
- What do you think about the possible biases of these investigators?
- Not a reflection question, but a heads up that we’re going to do an introduction to some basic clinical calculations including Absolute Risk Reduction, Relative Risk Reduction, and Number Needed to Treat. No prior experience is required and beginners are welcome!
